About Blue Nile Painting
Blue Nile Painting is an owner-led painting company focused on custom homes, high-end repaints, heritage properties, and select commercial projects across Edmonton.
Before founding Blue Nile Painting in Edmonton in 2010, Sameh spent five years working in Paris on high-end residential projects, heritage buildings, and luxury condominiums. This experience included traditional plaster work, detailed drywall repairs, fine finishing, and working closely with designers in older, demanding buildings where precision and material knowledge are critical.
Sameh’s first major project in Edmonton was a 10,000 sq. ft. custom home, followed by several heritage properties requiring careful exterior restoration, brick repairs, window refinishing and traditional detailing. One early heritage homeowner referred to Sameh as a “master painter” — a reputation earned through craftsmanship, patience, and respect for historic homes.
Over the years, Blue Nile Painting has completed 3,000+ projects across Edmonton. Many clients return for multiple projects, refer family members, and trust us with several homes within the same family. We regularly work with builders, designers, and homeowners who value clear communication, clean work, and consistent results.
