Blue Nile Painting is an owner-led Edmonton painting company specializing in heritage restoration, luxury custom homes, estate properties, condominium developments and commercial buildings. Founded by Sameh Said in 2010, the company is licensed by the City of Edmonton (#639657327-001), carries $5 million liability insurance, is WCB covered and certified for aerial work platforms, boom lifts and scissor lifts.

Sameh's craft was forged on some of the most demanding projects in Paris — large-scale, high-end condominium buildings, luxury residences and heritage properties, inside and out. For five years he worked at the level where there is no room for error: alongside designers and architects, coordinating with every trade, delivering finishes that had to satisfy the most exacting eyes in Europe.


That experience shaped how Blue Nile works today. Sameh learned to read drawings and design intent, to speak the language of architects and interior designers and to research and understand every product deeply — which primer, which system, which finish belongs on which surface, and why. When Sameh walks a project, he sees what the designer sees —and he knows exactly how to deliver it.

Blue Nile Painting has more than 20 years of professional experience, including five years working on demanding heritage and luxury projects in Paris, and has completed more than 3,000 residential and commercial projects throughout the Edmonton region.

One of our landmark projects was Allure Condominiums on MacTaggart Drive in southwest Edmonton, developed by Carrington Communities. This four-storey luxury condominium development features 47 high-end residences with 9–10-foot ceilings and Level 4/5 drywall finishes.

Blue Nile Painting completed the project from start to finish, providing painting for the suites, walls, ceilings, trim, exterior surfaces, common areas, two underground parking levels, and private garages, maintaining consistent quality throughout every phase of construction.

Beyond Allure, Blue Nile Painting has also completed painting for Elements at Urban Village, a 120-home community, approximately 50 Laurel townhomes, numerous custom homes, warehouse dryfall ceiling projects, and large office spaces across the Edmonton area.
